Begin at Harpeth River State Park. Hidden Lake Trail is the short quarry-and-bluff walk. The Narrows if you want river air. Check water levels before you paddle: the park closes boating access at 5 feet. Longer woods: Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns. Trails and Lake Acorn. Confirm current closures on the park page before you drive.
